At least once a week, my older kid asks me how my day was and what I did at work or, more generally, what I do at work. My answer to him is generally along the lines of “I am a Privacy Program Manager, helping my colleagues determine what personal information we should be collecting for apps, services and websites; how we should and shouldn’t be using that information; how we help people using those things understand what we’re doing and the choices available to them; how we are validating the Privacy and making the product as Privacy compliance.” As someone who has been working in technology for more than 19 years and privacy for roughly 3, I was surprised when Alexa emerged as a concrete way for me to explain my work to my kid.

Alexa - One stop shop
